Job summary

Ocean Infinity is seeking a Technical Lead – Data Processing to join our Data Intelligence team in the UK. You will own technical direction, quality assurance, and development of data processing capabilities across seismic and bathymetric workflows.

You will bridge current production needs with future architectures, mentor data teams, and collaborate with technology, commercial, and marine groups to advance AI-assisted processing and automated QC.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years’ experience in bathymetry data acquisition and processing.
Experience across marine, offshore windfarm, seabed, and pipeline surveys.
Proficiency with DP-software including Caris HIPS/SIPS, Qimera, NaviEdit/NaviModel, Janus, POSPac, NavLab and QGIS.
Strong leadership, mentoring and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Act as Technical Authority for data acquisition, processing and interpretation.
Lead software developments in the data processing space with tech/digital teams.
Mentor data processors and partner companies on automation-first delivery.
Oversee full project lifecycles from survey design to ground model development.
Provide technical leadership across offshore survey projects and QC activities.
Drive AI/ML assisted workflows for automated QC and target picking.
