Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for a high‑impact Student Information System transformation in Higher Education. • Strong delivery experience within UK Higher Education.
• Experience with Student Record Systems - SITS/eVision, Banner or similar.
• Experience with major SIS implementations, upgrades or replacements.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end student lifecycle.
• Strong integration/API and data migration experience.
• Strong SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience leading technical teams and working with senior stakeholders.
• Azure/AWS experience beneficial.

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Lead to support a major Student Information System transformation within Higher Education.

This is a senior, hands‑on technical leadership role, taking ownership of the technical direction across the programme and working across student systems, architecture, integrations and data migration.

You'll act as a key technical authority on the programme, working closely with internal teams, university stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure the solution is robust, scalable and successfully delivered.
