Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a Hands-on Technical Lead to join a market-leading fintech with a presence across the UK and Europe. The role offers fully remote work across the UK, with the option to use the London office as needed.

You will remain hands-on, guiding architecture decisions and shaping scalable systems to improve performance and reliability. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in development, prior Lead/Principal experience, deep AWS knowledge, and proficiency with Kubernetes and Helm,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial development experience.
• Experience as a Lead / Staff / Principal Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of containerisation through Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD and Helm.
• Ability to lead a development team; strong communicator.
• Fully UK remote; choose your own equipment.

• Lead and assist the team with code and architecture decisions and maintain high end engineering workflows.
• Reshape the platform architecture by designing scalable systems and services in order to improve performance and reliability.

You will be joining an established team during an exciting period of growth. You also have the chance to work fully remote or come into the office in London as much as you like.
