Job summary

InterSystems in Windsor or Edinburgh is launching a Technical Graduates program for recent or soon-to-be graduates in STEM. The 9-month contract offers personalised mentorship and hands-on responsibilities within a dedicated team, with potential move to a permanent role.

Starting in spring or autumn 2027, participants will complete training and support technical projects, gaining transferable skills while engaging with InterSystems products across healthcare, finance and more.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate from Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD programme – Computer Science, Maths, or similar STEM disciplines preferred
• Experience coding in Java, C, C++, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python or similar
• Technical curiosity and creativity for tackling complex technical challenges
• Collaborative mindset and motivation to learn
• Able to commit to a 9-month contract starting in spring or autumn 2027, in Windsor or Edinburgh

Responsibilities

• Complete training activities to learn InterSystems products and processes
• Support technical teams on projects and progress to greater responsibility
• Develop transferable workplace skills, both technical and non-technical
• Remain with one team for the 9-month contract, with exposure to other areas

We are looking for recent or soon to be graduates (2026-2027) from a range of STEM disciplines to begin building a career at InterSystems. We are a global data management software company operating in a number of sectors, including healthcare, legal and financial services. Based in Windsor or Edinburgh, our Technical Graduates will receive personalised mentorship while fulfilling a range of responsibilities across a 9 month contract, starting in spring or autumn 2027.

Our graduate hiring has been growing consistently over the last few years, and there is a company-wide drive to increase this further and support the development of our early-career employees. If you have recently graduated or will be graduating in 2027 from a STEM discipline, we would welcome your application! The duration of our graduate contracts starts at 9 months, but where possible, our hope is to try and move people into permanent positions, allowing you to continue using and developing the knowledge and skills that you have gained throughout the initial period.

If your application is successful in our early stages, you may be selected by one of our technical teams to be considered for their more specific graduate role – we will provide further details about those positions in due course. Our programme is non-rotational – you will remain with one team for the duration of the contract. However, you'll still get great exposure to other areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Complete relevant training activities to learn about InterSystems products and processes, developing a deep level of expertise
• Support technical teams on projects with the aim of eventually taking on greater responsibility in these projects
• Gain and develop valuable and transferable workplace skills, both technical and non-technical
• More specific responsibilities depend on which team you may successfully join

Qualifications/Requirements

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate from Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD programme – Computer Science, Maths, or similar STEM disciplines preferred
• Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Java, C, C++, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python, or similar
• Technical curiosity
• Creativity towards complex technical challenges
• Collaborative team mindset
• Driven and motivated to learn
• Enthusiastic about beginning a career in technology
• Able to adapt in an ever-changing work environment
• Previous internship experience is a bonus but not essential
• Able to commit to a 9 month contract, starting either in spring (March/April) or autumn (September) 2027 – exact graduate start dates to be determined
• Able to be based full-time in either our Windsor office or our Edinburgh office
