Job description

Randstad CPE is working with a leading FM provider looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based at a large hospital site near High Wycombe.

Role Summary:
  1. Manage the on-site maintenance team, ensuring compliance with disciplinary processes and procedures.
  2. Direct, instruct, and manage all staff under their control, ensuring adherence to working practices.
  3. Complete weekly operations reports and attend client meetings as required.
  4. Report any issues affecting the building and facilities to the company's and client's senior management promptly.
  5. Review and improve operating procedures, including emergency and contingency plans within critical systems.
  6. Develop financial plans for revenue, profit, cost reduction, and contract growth, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Experience Required:
  1. Experience in similar roles within the Building Services industry.
  2. Technical qualification in mechanical or electrical fields.
  3. Strong communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians/operatives.
  4. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  5. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  6. Operational experience in facilities management, including hard services.
  7. Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
