Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is actively seeking a Technical Engineer – Masonry Support Systems in Thames Valley. The role focuses on senior technical engineering for masonry support systems, from tender to project completion, with GA layouts, sections, and liaison with clients and suppliers.

You will read architectural and structural drawings, develop efficient solutions, and prepare CPDs and detailed technical submissions. The position includes hybrid work with office and remote components.

Qualifications

• Must have a construction related degree.
• Ideally within structural or civil engineering degree (BSc/BEng).
• Must have working knowledge of masonry support, fixings, anchoring systems, restraint systems, precast concrete systems, glass façade fixings, brickwork cladding or related market sector.

Responsibilities

• Senior Technical Engineer position dealing with a high quality range masonry support systems.
• Managing projects from tender through to completion.
• Production of GA layouts and sections, manufacture and setting out drawings.
• Responding to technical enquiries from customers and liaising with suppliers to obtain further technical literature.
• Read technical drawings provided by architect, façade and structural engineers; liaising to develop efficient solutions.
• Prepare and provide CPDs to clients to improve knowledge of product range.
• Develop technical specification with detailed drawings and calculations.
