Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Technical Engineer – Masonry Support Systems based in Thames Valley with office work and some home-based days. The role involves managing projects end-to-end, producing GA layouts and sections, and handling technical enquiries to deliver efficient masonry solutions.

The ideal candidate will hold a construction-related degree (preferably structural/civil, BSc/BEng), have knowledge of masonry supports and related systems, be IT-literate, and show a proactive work

Qualifications

• Must have a construction related degree.
• Ideally within structural or civil engineering degree (BSc/BEng).
• Must have knowledge of masonry support, fixings, anchoring, restraint systems, precast concrete, glass façade fixings, brickwork, fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Senior Technical Engineer role handling high quality masonry support systems.
• Manage projects from tender through to completion.
• Produce GA layouts and sections, drawings for manufacture and setting out.
• Respond to technical enquiries from customers and liaise with suppliers for literature.
• Read architect/facade/structural drawings and liaise to develop efficient client solutions.
• Prepare CPDs to improve client knowledge of product range.
• Develop technical specifications with drawings and calculations.
• Work on projects valued £50k to £500k+
