We are proud to be working in partnership with an innovative, modern manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit for a Technical Engineer on a full time permanent basis. This client boasts an extremely healthy order book, excellent working environment and future progression plans for their employees. Working as a Technical Engineer you will be reporting into the Technical Manager you will be responsible for;

• Co-ordinating and implementing foundry techniques inclusive of Titanium and air techniques as well as thermal processing
• Ensuring technical sign offs are completed
• Writing and complete Finishing Route Cards
• Approving heat treatment techniques obtaining support from Technical Director
• Attending and contribute to the Techniques meeting
• Assisting in developing, improving, and monitoring manufacturing processes
• Compile and keep up to date logs of product development and data analysis for key customer issues/trials within shared access
• Being the main technical lead in supporting projects for customers, inclusive of customer project meetings
• Directing and control workloads, ensuring they are manageable, and the completion dates adhered to
• Interpreting and present data to management or senior colleagues
• Responding to enquiries.

This role would suit someone who is currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Coordinator within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.

You will;

• Have knowledge of foundry and heat treatment techniques
• Have the ability to take on technical information
• Be competent working with an internal database
• Ability to learn and develop technical product knowledge
• Ability to work independently

This is a new role within the business as part of their growth and future projected plans.
