Job summary

Major homes developer is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead a large in-house planning and design team in Hampshire, overseeing the full technical development process from pre-construction to site completion and operations.

The ideal candidate will drive design programmes within budget, supervise and coordinate architects, planners, engineers and project managers, and report progress at weekly management and bi-monthly board meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a busy technical team across pre-construction, planning, architectural and engineering coordination to site completion and operation.
• Establish design programmes and specifications within budget and monitor build programme.
• Oversee development and production of standard house and apartment types and details to meet requirements.
• Instruct and review technical viabilities for new land acquisitions; report progress at management and board meetings.
