A little more about your role…

General

• Meet the requirements of a Technical Director - Electrical grade with a proven track record in project delivery.
• Lead within a multidisciplinary MEP team, providing design and technical advice as a project manager.
• Supervise detailed design work and oversee the work of others.
• Assess project feasibility and lead feasibility studies.
• Take responsibility for and direct the production of detailed/performance specifications.
• Act as the client’s main contact and ensure project delivery meets client expectations and KPIs.
• Work under client direction, interpreting project needs to ensure full delivery.

Business Development

• Provide excellent client care and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Develop client relationships to promote new commissions.
• Showcase WSP’s capabilities in the region.

Management

• Oversee the production of detailed and performance specifications.
• Manage and develop junior staff.
• Brief project teams, ensure contracts are in place, and monitor workload and resources.
• Hold regular team meetings on resourcing, staff issues, H&S, quality, and development.

Electrical Design Skills

• Cable calculations (ElectricalOM, Amtech, or manual)
• Lighting calculations (software and manual)
