Job summary

Pure Pet Food is seeking a Technical Development Manager to lead nutrition, product quality and technical strategies for UK and EU ranges. You’ll apply evidence-based nutrition, guide new product development, and partner with product, compliance, operations and suppliers to deliver high‑quality, great‑tasting dog foods.

You will stay at the forefront of canine nutrition, drive testing programs, and help educate customers while shaping the portfolio to meet evolving pet needs.

Qualifications

Essential nutritionist experience and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Nutrition.
Ability to review nutritional data, testing results and translate findings into actions.
Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to embed nutrition in product development.

Responsibilities

Technical & nutritional leadership across existing and new products.
Ensure recipes meet nutritional guidelines and quality standards.
Lead NPD process from concept through trials and launch.
Advise on recipe development to improve palatability and digestibility.
Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Finance and Procurement.
