M&E Technical Design Manager

Working Hours – 8:00- 17:00 (Monday- Friday)

The Technical Design Manager will lead a team of M&E designers and Sector Material Experts, providing both pre and post contract support to the division and clients, including design and expert advice.

• Plan and deliver all design and advisory services to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage technical resources within the Energy Division.
• Manage appointed technical resources within and outside the organisation.
• Develop and maintain competence and credibility.
• Set and drive departmental KPIs and challenge improvement.
• Provide leadership, governance, and direction to ensure staff safety, engagement, development, and optimal performance.
• Contribute to the development of the Energy Division.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• A legal right to work in the UK.
• Deliver technically competent, relevant, compliant, and commercially acceptable technical solutions.
• Understand the entire project lifecycle.
• Possess strong knowledge of the Building Services industry, including alternative energy.
• Hold a recognised degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally with CIBSE membership.
• Be proficient with MS Office, CAD, BIM, and other related design software.
• Have at least 15 years’ experience delivering design and construction in a similar industry role.
