Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd in the Croydon area is seeking a Technical Design Co-ordinator to join our growing team. The role involves designing and adapting products from CAD drawings, and coordinating with clients and internal colleagues on quotation, design and installation stages.

The position covers feasibility, reporting, planning, drawings, approvals, orders and pricing checks, plus tracking to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical design environment.
• Strong ability to interpret client requirements from CAD drawings.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies and design from CAD drawings.
• Prepare reports and planning documentation for projects.
• Create designs, drawings and obtain approvals.
• Assist with orders, price checking and tracking to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with production and other departments during installation.

Technical Design Co-ordinator, Croydon area

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, parking on site, tube station in proximity

Specialist manufacturing business, with made to order products.

The Technical team will design and adapt company products according to client requirements and specifications. The team work from CAD drawings and work with key client and internal stakeholders to assist with quotation, design and installation stages of projects.

A broad role within the technical team, with involvement in all stages of the development cycle not just design:

• Feasibility
• Reports
• Planning
• Design, drawings
• Approvals
• Orders and price checking
• Tracking and prioritising to meet the needs of the business.

This a dynamic role, providing an excellent service and advising to all other departments, including supporting the production team as required.

Experience required:

• AutoCAD plus ideally Solidworks
• Experience Keyshot is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a similar role, within a technical design team
• Construction, manufacturing, engineering or similar sector experience
• Building Regulations knowledge is desirable
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong communications skills across various levels of stakeholders both internal and external
