Job summary

Boldyn Networks is seeking a Solution Design Manager to provide end-to-end technical leadership across telecoms design disciplines in a hybrid work setting. You will own design integrity, risk management and governance for radio, M&E, civil and structural elements, interfacing with engineering leadership and project teams.

The role requires prior TDA/Principal Designer experience, strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of delivering safe, buildable solutions that meet

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Design Authority and/or Principal Designer under applicable safety regimes.
• Proven ability to manage multi-discipline design across telecoms projects.
• Familiarity with UK standards and design governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Design Authority for assigned projects, ensuring design quality and compliance.
• Lead multi-disciplinary design integration across RF, M&E, civil and architectural elements.
• Provide strategic technical oversight and assurance across design outputs.
• Ensure designs are buildable, safe and within budget and programme objectives.
• Maintain and improve design frameworks, templates and QA protocols.
• Mentor Senior and Junior Design Engineers and support recruitment.
