Job description

Location: Farnborough (Hybrid with 1-2 days per week in office)

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess data workflows & interfaces, compare them with industry best practices, and automate ETL processes where feasible. Core development skills required, with a focus on SQL, Microsoft SQL, Integration Services, and Python.
  • Develop and generate reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Work independently with high commitment to delivery and quality.
  • Coordinate projects with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and regular alignment meetings.
  • Propose improvements for interface ecosystem standardization and database process optimization. Document all business requirements for ecosystem maintenance and enhancement.
  • Experience with cloud data migration or Kafka event streaming technology is a plus for future projects.
About you:

Professional experience:

  • Data and complex process analysis using SQL
  • Python programming for automation
  • Business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Amazon QuickSight

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field preferred
