Job summary

Verdant Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Technical Coordinator to lead the design process on pre-construction and live projects. You will coordinate external design consultants, liaise with architects and engineers, and provide practical technical guidance to the construction team.

The role involves managing RFIs, design changes and package approvals, ensuring buildability and compliance with regulations, and coordinating utilities and specialist designers where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating external design consultants and design teams.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, civil engineering and M&E information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external design team and manage design process across pre-construction and live projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information for coordination and buildability.
• Advise construction team on design details, materials and technical requirements.
• Respond to technical queries from project managers, site managers and subcontractors.
• Identify design clashes and construction risks and manage RFIs and design changes.
• Ensure technical information is issued in line with construction programme.
