Known for our creative flair, high standards, and bespoke approach, we’re growing fast- and looking for a Technical Coordinator to help take our event delivery to the next level. Role Overview As Technical Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in the planning, logistics, and on-site execution of our events. You'll work closely with the Head of Events and wider team to ensure all technical aspects of production run smoothly - from lighting and audio to staging and visuals. This is a hands-on role that requires strong project management skills, a good understanding of AV equipment, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage end-to-end technical production for events, from planning to de-rig.
● On-site setup and breakdown of AV equipment including lighting, screens, sound systems, and staging.
● Oversee logistics for equipment transportation and crew scheduling.
● Work closely with entertainers, clients, and venues to ensure seamless delivery.
● Conduct site visits and produce technical specifications for events.
● Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed during production.
● Liaise with suppliers and freelancers where required.
Essential Requirements
● Clean UK Driving Licence (ability to drive vans and transport kit to event sites).
● Strong practical understanding of audio-visual equipment. (Sound desks, lighting rigs, screens, etc. Plus knowledge of industry software such as QLab).
● Proven experience in production/project management within events, theatre, or live entertainment.
● Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and think on your feet.
● Comfortable with hands-on work including lifting, rigging, and setting up technical gear.
● Excellent communication and organisational skills.
● Flexible schedule – availability for evening/weekend work as needed.
● A strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Desirable Attributes
● Experience in live performance or entertainment industry.
● Formal training or certifications in AV or technical production.
● Knowledge of health & safety regulations and risk assessments.
● Familiarity with event planning software or project management tools.
