Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement technical assurance activities
  • Support the development of certification protocols, audit processes, and membership structures.
  • Produce technical materials including guidance documents and training resources.
  • Liaise with certification bodies, auditors, and wider stakeholders to uphold assurance standards.
  • Lead technical projects to improve system efficiency, scalability, and impact.
  • Represent the business at external meetings, audits, and industry events.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Solid knowledge and/or experience working with assurance or certification schemes within food or fresh produce
  • A good understanding of environmental sustainability in farming and food supply chains.
  • Strong organisational skills – able to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Data literacy – comfortable working with databases and technical information.
  • A problem-solving mindset – solutions-focused and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complex information for varied audiences.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the confidence to work independently.

  • Salary: £28,500 per annum
  • Pension: 7% employer contribution
