G2 Legal Limited in Leeds is seeking an experienced Technical Conveyancer to join a leading national residential conveyancing business. You will provide expert technical support across residential matters and help drive efficiency in a busy team.

The role requires a minimum of five years' experience in residential conveyancing, with solid knowledge of freehold and leasehold work, unregistered titles, and title checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
• At least 3 years handling freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership and unregistered title matters.
• Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical legal support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
• Advising colleagues on complex freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership and unregistered title transactions.
• Carrying out technical title checks where required.
• Dealing with deeds of variation and lease extension matters.
• Acting on behalf of lenders in equity release purchase transactions and repossession sales.
• Liaising with Team Managers to ensure urgent or technically challenging files are progressed promptly.
• Auditing completed files and providing feedback to Conveyancers.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and technical quality.
• Acting as a technical point of contact for complex legal queries within the team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Conveyancer to join a leading national residential conveyancing business. This organisation is recognised for delivering high-quality legal services across a significant volume of residential property transactions and is committed to investing in its people, technology and continued growth.

This role is ideal for a technically strong Conveyancer who enjoys supporting colleagues, resolving complex legal issues and helping to maintain the highest standards across a busy conveyancing team.

As a Technical Conveyancer, you will provide expert legal and technical support to residential conveyancing teams, assisting with complex matters while ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and in line with best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical legal support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters
• Advising colleagues on complex freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership and unregistered title transactions
• Carrying out technical title checks where required
• Dealing with deeds of variation and lease extension matters
• Acting on behalf of lenders in equity release purchase transactions and repossession sales
• Liaising closely with Team Managers to ensure urgent or technically challenging files are progressed promptly
• Auditing completed files and providing clear, constructive feedback to Conveyancers
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and technical quality across the department
• Acting as a technical point of contact for complex legal queries within the team

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing
• At least 3 years' experience handling freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership and unregistered title matters from instruction through to completion
• Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to assess complex matters and provide practical solutions

Desirable:

• Experience working within a high-volume residential conveyancing environment
• Qualified Solicitor (3+ PQE), Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
