Technical Consultant (Cyber & Networking)

£85,000 - £95,000 + bonus, Car Allowance, and much more

Permanent

Basingstoke - few times a month onsite. Customer site visits (expensed)

iO Associates is working with an established tech consultancy seeking a Post-Sales Technical Consultant for a permanent role. They design digital infrastructures supporting clients across various industries, developing innovative cybersecurity and networking solutions. They work with the latest technologies in a dynamic environment that challenges conventional norms.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will collaborate closely with customers from initial engagement to solution implementation. Your responsibilities include leading architecture and design workshops, Proof of Concepts, providing technical expertise during sales, and designing, building, and implementing solutions with customers.

Candidates should have at least three years' experience in technical consultancy within networking, telecommunications, or cybersecurity. You will play a key role in the growth of one of the UK's most innovative companies.

To succeed, you will need:

  • At least three years' experience providing consultative services directly to customers in networking, telecommunications, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to lead design workstreams, run workshops, and present technical solutions.
  • A professional, detail-oriented, and consultative approach to customer interactions.
  • Excellent written skills for creating high-quality technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and other Microsoft applications.

Additional expertise (at least three of the following areas):

  • Service Provider Routing & Switching, MPLS VPN, EVPN-VXLAN, Firewalls, Cloud Architecture, SD-WAN, DDoS, WAF, ADC, Wi-Fi, Endpoint Protection.
