Technical Consultant / Developer – SAP Business One

Location: Manchester, UK

Salary: £30,000 – £65,000 (Dependent on experience)

Positions available: Junior and Senior roles

Our client is expanding their technical team and looking for motivated developers and consultants—at both junior and senior levels—who are passionate about solving problems with smart, scalable solutions.

What You'll Need

Core Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset and a natural problem-solver
• Proficiency in modern programming (C#, VB.NET, etc.)
• Eagerness to quickly upskill in SAP Business One and related tools
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Positive attitude and interest in driving real business value through technology
• Additional Skills (Ideal for Senior Applicants)
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One development and SDKs
• Strong SQL skills (MS SQL and HANA)
• Familiarity with Codeless Platforms BPA
• Report development using Crystal Reports and SQL
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and Boyum add-ons (e.g. Usability Pack, B1UP)
• Knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform
• Prior exposure to Agile product development environments

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants and clients to scope and deliver tailored solutions
• Develop and integrate add-ons for SAP B1 and third-party applications
• Design custom reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, SQL, and Boyum tools
• Troubleshoot and support existing systems to ensure smooth client operations
• Embrace new technologies and contribute to innovation within the team
• Participate in agile development cycles and version control processes (Git, Azure DevOps)
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives
• Build lasting relationships with clients through technical insight and consistency
