Job summary

The Waterman Group is seeking a proactive Project Administrator to join its Construction Health & Safety Team in the UK. You will provide technical and administrative support across CDM/BR, CDM Services, Building Safety Act and general construction safety services on a range of projects.

Ideal candidates will bring organisational flair, strong communication, and experience with document control and project databases; training will be provided to cover CDM2015 and Building Safety Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
• Experience with document control systems and project databases.
• Willingness to undertake training in CDM and Building Safety Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of PD CDM/BR project documentation.
• Support the development and maintenance of project information, risk trackers and registers.
• Assist in the production of Pre-Construction Information.
• Assist in the compilation and review of Health & Safety Files.
• Coordinate and issue project reports and client deliverables.
• Support Principal Designer and CDM Adviser services across multiple projects.
• Maintain project records and audit trails.
• Liaise with designers, clients, contractors and project teams to obtain required information.
• Set up new projects and maintain project databases.
• Monitor project deadlines and assist with programme management.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and issue meeting minutes.
• Manage technical document control and filing systems.
• Assist with quality assurance reviews before reports are issued.
• Support fee proposal preparation and project mobilisation activities.
• Maintain competency records and training trackers.
• Support compliance monitoring against CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act requirements.
• Assist with internal audits and management reporting.
• Maintain templates, standard documents and technical guidance notes.
• Support the implementation of team procedures and best-practice guidance.
• Assist in preparing client presentations and tender submissions.
• Maintain Client Database, client reviews and feedback.
• Assist with the maintenance of internal systems and project dashboards.
