  • Influence and collaborate with internal project teams, designers, consultants, and contractors to promote safe and coordinated design outcomes.
  • Oversee the selection, appointment, and performance of Principal Designers and Principal Contractors, ensuring legal and procedural compliance.
  • Review and challenge key design safety documentation, including pre-construction information, design risk registers and coordination reports.
  • Support project teams across the planning, procurement, design development, and construction phases, ensuring CDM principles are applied consistently.
  • Monitor and manage consultant performance, ensuring outputs align with project safety goals and integrate with the wider safety management system.
  • Proactively identify and promote innovative and practical solutions to improve design coordination, construction safety, and long-term asset operation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess compliance, engage with delivery teams, and provide hands-on support during key project milestones. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by Senior Management.
