We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our team within Vistry Northern Home Counties at our Milton Keynes office. As a Technical Coordinator, you will coordinate all technical information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the design and construction process, ensuring all approvals are obtained and information is received and issued promptly for a smooth start on site.

What we expect from you…

- Full UK Driving License or equivalent
- Experience in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Experience in Residential Housing sector
- Proficiency in regulatory approvals, including section agreements (Section 38 & 104 designs)
- Project management and supervision skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to challenge decisions confidently
- Quick learner with a focus on development
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Analytical approach
- Knowledge of 4 Projects
- Operational viewpoint
- Positive, flexible attitude and team support
- Interpersonal skills for effective liaison and coordination
- CAD/REVIT skills
- Ability to prioritize workload across multiple contracts/tasks
Desirable qualifications…
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

- Adhere to company processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure accuracy and commercial suitability of drawings during design and construction
- Coordinate and chair design team meetings
- Attend site progress meetings
- Manage planning process and review approvals
- Agree on construction specifications, SAP, and BREEAM strategies
- Coordinate submissions for Building Control, Warranty, and documentation
- Collaborate with consultants and attend meetings on technical matters
- Support Commercial and Buying teams with subcontractor design reviews
- Ensure timely, accurate design information aligned with client needs
- Maintain all project drawings and documents on the Viewpoint Platform
- Review contract documentation, warranties, and bonds with Contracts Manager
- Secure statutory approvals for engineering and ground remediation
- Coordinate Temporary Works designs
- Participate in site visits and resolve construction issues
- Incorporate new regulations as needed
- Perform other duties as necessary
