Technical Co-Founder – AI + EdTech Platform

Are you a senior full-stack engineer with a passion for building impactful products from the ground up? Do you want to shape the future of education using AI, beautiful design, and deep personalization?

We're looking for a Technical Co-Founder to join an early-stage EdTech startup that's rethinking how learning content is created, consumed, and personalized.

About the Vision

We're building a modular, AI-powered learning platform that combines:

• A markdown-based content management system for educators and creators
• Hyper-personalized textbooks and adaptive learning experiences
• A clean, focused UI with a built-in AI tutor, whiteboard, and subject-specific tools
• A backend engine capable of running bulk AI prompts over structured content

Imagine Notion meets Khan Academy meets GPT — but purpose-built for rich educational content.

️ What You’ll Be Leading

• Architecting and building the platform from the ground up
• Designing a modular codebase with clear boundaries (CMS, AI runner, markdown renderer, etc.)
• Building a beautiful and simple split-screen UI: folders on the left, content in the middle, tools on the right
• Creating systems to run and orchestrate AI prompts over markdown content
• Integrating rich markdown rendering, chat-based AI tutoring, and real-time collaboration features

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a fit if you:

• Have 5+ years full-stack experience with strong backend or systems architecture skills
• Have built or scaled complex web apps from scratch (especially in content, productivity, or learning tools)
• Are fluent with TypeScript, Prisma, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Tailwind, and AI APIs
• Have experience building modular monorepos or scalable service architectures
• Care deeply about user experience, speed, and clean abstractions
• Are excited to work on hard problems with high impact in education
• Want to own product direction, architecture, and future technical hiring
