Position: Technical Business Development Manager - Industrial

Location: Newcastle / North East

Salary & Benefits: £60,000-£70,000 Basic Salary + Car + Bonuses + Healthcare

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:30

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a technical sales/business development professional to join an industry-leading, multisite engineering company. This technically challenging and varied role offers the chance to work with a company that has rapidly grown year on year and has an excellent reputation for providing key solutions across manufacturing, nuclear, offshore, energy industries, and more. Their extensive product range includes industrial ventilation and extraction units, noise control, climate control, environmental monitoring systems, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proactively seek out new business opportunities with industrial engineering and manufacturing companies in sectors such as general manufacturing, nuclear, oil and gas, and chemicals.
2. Conduct site surveys to identify customer challenges and provide tailored technical solutions.
3. Prepare detailed reports and work closely with project and installation teams.
4. Deliver presentations to new and existing customers.
5. Identify and pursue networking and business development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Background in Technical Sales or Business Development.
2. Strong network within engineering and manufacturing sectors.
3. Full driving license.
4. Based in or willing to cover the North East region.
