Job summary

Yourcode Recruitment is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Normanton, West Yorkshire (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) with a salary up to £50,000 plus a Bonus. The role sits between IT, engineering and business stakeholders to shape solutions across systems and digital platforms.

You will gather, analyse and document requirements, produce user stories and process flows, and collaborate with developers and product owners to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements.
• Experience working with software development teams (Agile, Scrum or Waterfall environments).
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
• Experience producing user stories, process maps, workflows and documentation.
• Exposure to systems integrations, APIs or enterprise applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Desirable: ERP, eCommerce or supply chain systems; Retail, distribution, logistics or wholesale environments; Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Working with business stakeholders to capture, analyse and document requirements.
• Translating business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Acting as the bridge between business users, developers and technical teams.
• Supporting system integrations, process improvements and digital initiatives.
• Producing documentation such as user stories, process flows, data mappings and functional specs.
• Collaborating with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions to understand business challenges.
• Identifying opportunities to improve business processes, workflows and system utilisation.
• Supporting testing phases including UAT planning and requirements validation.
• Ensuring solutions are aligned with both technical feasibility and business outcomes.
