Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst, Assistant Vice President to define business and system requirements, analyze processes, and support project management within our financial institution. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, conducting data analysis, and supporting development teams.

Responsibilities

1. Define business/system requirements through user meetings, interviews, use case development, and issue resolution.
2. Participate in project planning and management, maintain documentation, and manage issue logs.
3. Analyze current processes, recommend improvements, and oversee the dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
4. Provide technical and business insights to users and teams, staying updated on technological developments.
5. Support analysis and testing phases in the development cycle.
6. Carry out data analysis using SQL and Python, support daily application issues, and document use cases.
7. Engage with internal/external teams and manage daily priorities for development and QA work.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of technical business analysis experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Proficiency with Excel, Python (including Numpy/Pandas), and SQL.
• Strong analysis skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Background

Experience in business/system analysis within banks or financial institutions, ideally with knowledge of Securities Lending. Eagerness to enhance both business and technical skills.
