Help us create a better future, quicker. We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can combine strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes and using technology to deliver better outcomes for both customers and the business.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing and improving end-to-end retail processes. You will identify operational challenges, investigate root causes and develop practical solutions that drive efficiency, quality and performance. A strong focus on customer experience will be at the heart of everything you do.
Working closely with business and technology teams, you will help design and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort and support continuous improvement. You will also develop reporting and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights and help inform business decisions.
This position requires someone who can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will gather requirements, facilitate workshops, map business processes and ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives. You will also communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
The successful candidate will have experience working in complex environments and a proven track record of delivering technical and business solutions. Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
You will collaborate with a wide range of teams across customer operations, billing, compliance, data, transformation and technology functions. The role also involves working with external delivery and engineering partners to support successful business outcomes.
To be considered, you will have knowledge of the UK Energy Retail Market, ideally gained within the utilities sector, together with experience working with AWS technologies. Strong technical skills in SQL, SAP, Python and Power BI are also required.
Occasional national and international travel may be required.
