Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Technical Business Analyst for a contract role based in Reading. The role involves supporting sensitive MOD and aerospace programmes with a minimum on-site commitment of 20-50%. You will contribute to digital engineering initiatives across Synthetics, ITEA, or TLS.

The role requires active SC clearance and exposure to requirements management, systems engineering lifecycles, and stakeholder collaboration with defence prime integrators.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement and requirements management.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability and systems engineering lifecycles.
• Active Security Check (SC) clearance is mandatory; DV clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and organise stakeholder needs throughout the engineering lifecycle
• Elicit, capture, document and maintain business and technical requirements
• Manage requirements baselines, change requests and impact assessments
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from customer needs through implementation and verification
• Support requirements decomposition, allocation and validation activities
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, engineers, IT teams and end users
• Participate in reviews, audits and governance activities to ensure compliance with requirements engineering processes
• Produce and review technical documentation and lifecycle deliverables
