Job summary

Aleido UK is seeking a Technical Author - Operator & Workshop Manuals in Warwick. You will create and maintain operator and workshop manuals, transforming complex engineering information into clear, user-focused content across brands in a global marketplace.

You will work with structured authoring tools, CAD data and CMS to deliver high-quality publications on time, communicating with vehicle engineering and brand teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

Experience creating operator or workshop manuals or similar technical publications.
Excellent written and spoken English with ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Strong ability to interpret engineering information and vehicle systems.
Familiarity with structured authoring and XML-based tools.
Experience working with content management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Create and update operator and workshop manual content to a high standard.
Gather and interpret technical information from multiple sources.
Collaborate with engineering and brand teams to ensure accuracy.
Use structured authoring tools to produce clear, customer-focused publications.
Translate complex systems into accessible operating, maintenance and repair content.
Reference CAD data and software tools to support content creation.
