Position Details:

• Department: Service Management
• Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
• Location: North West UK - Hybrid
• Workplace: Hybrid (2+ days in the office)
• Hiring Manager: Jed Shaw

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of production and maintenance of user guides, release notes, and product enhancements.
• Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to create reference materials.
• Create and review technical documentation for various audiences, ensuring appropriate language and clarity.
• Focus on continuous delivery and meeting deadlines.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• At least three years of experience documenting APIs.
• Experience creating and reviewing customer-facing content.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, preferably Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and customers.
• High-quality user documentation skills, with attention to language and graphics.
• Customer focus, deadline-oriented, and team player.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with localisation and globalisation.
