A rapidly growing technical manufacturer is seeking an experienced Technical Author to join their new facility in Bristol.
In this role, you will create and refine highly technical documentation, focusing on content validation and review.
With a strong commitment to customer experience, this position ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of documentation to exceed customer expectations.
Develop and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for the high-tech product range.
Peer review other authors' work, test and update documentation, including working in the onsite lab to validate procedures.
Edit images and technical illustrations used throughout the documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to produce, review, and present high-quality plain English documentation for all users.
Recognised technical authoring qualification (ISTC, NVQ, Diploma, or equivalent experience).
Minimum three years’ experience in a technical authoring role.
Proficiency in authoring software, preferably MadCap Flare, Adobe Acrobat, and SolidWorks/Solid Edge.
Experience in high-tech manufacturing sectors such as semiconductor, electro-mechanical, or scientific industries preferred.
Experience includes writing documentation for scientific instrumentation and applying Simplified Technical English.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK. Passports/Visas will be verified.

£38,000 - £46,000 plus benefits.
