Cadent Gas Ltd. seeks a Technical Assurance Manager to provide specialist leadership ensuring safe, compliant delivery of major capital projects across its network.
You will oversee welding, NDT, coating, painting, hydrotesting, bolting and material compliance throughout the project lifecycle. You will shape QA processes, audit programmes and supplier inspections, while leading a team of technical specialists and collaborating with project teams and senior stakeholders to achieve high standards

As our Technical Assurance Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of major capital investment projects across Cadent's network. This isn't just about quality assurance - it's about providing specialist technical leadership, driving best practice and ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest engineering standards.
Working within the Capital Delivery Safety & Engineering team, you'll act as the subject matter expert across welding, non- destructive testing (NDT), coating and painting, hydrotesting, bolting and material compliance. You'll provide technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle, supporting project teams, contractors and senior stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
This is a highly influential leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape future strategy, enhance quality assurance processes and support the successful delivery of up to £200m of capital investment projects annually.
