Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Senior Vehicle Technician or Workshop Supervisor aiming to progress into a Technical Assistant Manager role. This is ideal for a skilled Technician with leadership ability to allocate work, support colleagues and assist customers in Buxton (SK17).

The role offers a £36,000 basic salary with a bonus OTE of £42,000, working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with a 4pm finish on Saturdays in a five-day week.

Responsibilities

• Allocate jobs and organise the daily workshop workload
• Support and guide Vehicle Technicians with technical issues
• Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics when required
• Complete quality checks and final vehicle inspections
• Help keep the workshop productive and running efficiently
• Support customers and front-of-house operations when needed
• Step up and support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
