Job summary

National Tyres and Autocare, part of the Halfords family, is seeking an Assistant Manager - Technical in Tyne and Wear. You will support the Centre Manager with daily sales, customer service, and workshop leadership, balancing hands-on mechanical work with staff development to drive profitability.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, a Level 2/3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance, a full driving licence, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
• Coaching, training and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Strong technical/mechanical knowledge with Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities
