The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our dynamic Technical Team at Thompsons of York part of the BATA Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for animal nutrition to develop their skills and contribute to a well-respected and growing business within the agricultural sector. You will work closely with experienced nutritionists and other technical specialists, gaining hands-on experience in formulation, technical support, and customer interaction.

Key Tasks:

·Assist senior nutritionists in the formulation of animal feed products

·Conduct nutritional analysis of raw materials and finished feed products

·Provide technical support and advice to internal teams (sales, production) and external customers (farmers, distributors)

·Assist in the preparation of technical literature, product specifications, and marketing materials

·Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in animal nutrition and feed technology

·Assist in the investigation of customer queries and nutritional issues

·Undertake relevant training and professional development to enhance nutritional knowledge and skills

Necessary:

• Bachelor Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science or similar
• Interest in the agricultural industry, animal nutrition and animal production
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A full UK driving license
