Technical Artist (Houdini) | North America | Canada | Europe | Fully Remote

Escape Velocity is seeking a talented Technical Artist responsible for developing and maintaining Houdini and PCG tools and content.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with art and engineering teams to understand art requirements and technical constraints.
• Assist art teams in solving problems using procedural tools.
• Research and prototype new techniques to enhance content production efficiency.
• Develop automated content optimization tools.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a Technical Art role.
• Experience with Houdini, Houdini Engine (preferably in Unreal Engine), and other procedural tools in Unreal (e.g., PCG).
• Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, and understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Preferably experience with Unreal 5 PCG and at least one released AAA title.
