Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Technical Architect. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week on-site in Guildford and the remainder remote, for an initial 6-month contract.

Job Description:

This senior Technical Architect role involves high accountability and responsibility within a dynamic environment. Key activities include creating repeatable Architecture Patterns and producing Infrastructure Solution Designs, with a focus on Security and Service. The role requires working closely with and influencing a wide range of Business and Technical Stakeholders, understanding Business and IT Strategy, organizational fit, compliance, and ongoing business change.

Skills and Experience:

1. Broad experience with Enterprise Technologies, with previous roles in SME environments.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging at all Business levels, from CEOs to Technical SMEs. Ability to work independently and in teams.
3. Ability to translate Business Requirements into Technology, Service, and Security Deliverables, including risk identification and mitigation.
4. Practical knowledge of Security and Risk management.
5. Experience in producing proposals and justifying Technology Strategies to Senior Business audiences.
6. Support and design experience for Mission Critical Infrastructure Solutions across various Technologies.
7. Self-starting and workload prioritization skills.
8. Support, Implementation, and Solution Design experience with core Technologies (Windows, Linux, Web, Middleware, Database, Security Gateways, LAN/WAN Networking) and MuleSoft API management.
9. Experience designing secure, high-performing, highly available Technology Solutions.
10. IT Security and Risk experience in an Architecture role.
11. Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., Financial Services) is advantageous.
12. Relevant qualifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are desirable but not essential.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the audience.
14. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment processes/tools is a plus.
15. Knowledge of workplace transformation, IAM, Application modernization, and integration.
