Up to £150,000 + 15% Bonus | Fully Remote | UK-Based | Permanent

We’re hiring a Principal Data & AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of intelligent, cloud-native data platforms at scale. You'll work across critical public and private sector programmes — helping shape the direction of AI-driven transformation.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role in a fast-growing digital practice backed by major investment, with the freedom to drive technical direction, mentor teams, and stay close to delivery.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and owning end-to-end data/AI architecture across complex programmes
• Working with C-level stakeholders to shape vision and delivery strategy
• Leading multidisciplinary teams across cloud, data, and AI engineering
• Supporting capability growth and mentoring architects/engineers
• Staying ahead of the curve on technologies: ML, LLMs, event-driven systems, data mesh, IoT, and more

You should bring:

• Strong experience architecting data or AI-intensive platforms in production
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native tooling (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Broad understanding across data types, integration methods, and scalable design
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills
• A commercial mindset with a passion for building capability and community
• Fully remote with meaningful flexibility
• Fast-growth unit with real influence and flat structure
