Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of scalable HCM solutions in the UK. You will translate business needs into robust architectures, ensuring upgrade-safe, secure, and high-value implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM technical architecture design, integrations, and migrations.
• Define and govern integration frameworks using Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Ensure SaaS compatibility with security, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
• Develop and manage environments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Oversee environment refreshes, deployment governance, and configuration migration.
• Plan Oracle quarterly updates and patch cycles with minimal disruption.
• Drive performance monitoring and resolve technical issues with delivery teams.
• Translate functional requirements into technical execution plans with stakeholders.
• Lead design workshops and document delivery lifecycle.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of scalable and secure HCM solutions. This role plays a critical part in translating business needs into robust technical architectures, ensuring high-quality implementation aligned with best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions that are resilient, upgrade-safe, and optimized for long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM technical architecture, including integrations, data migration, reporting, and extensions
• Define and govern integration frameworks using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related technologies
• Ensure all solutions follow SaaS principles, maintaining scalability, security, and upgrade compatibility
• Develop and manage environment strategies across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments
• Oversee environment refreshes, deployment governance, and configuration migration processes
• Plan and manage Oracle quarterly updates and patch cycles, ensuring system readiness and minimal disruption
• Drive performance monitoring and tuning efforts, resolving technical issues in collaboration with delivery teams
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical execution plans
• Lead technical discussions, design workshops, and documentation to support delivery lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM technical roles
• Proven experience delivering at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• + Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) + HCM Extracts + HDL / HSDL + OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) + Fast Formula + Oracle PaaS tools
• Solid understanding of integration architecture and Oracle Cloud security models
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong stakeholder communication and solutioning skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale or multi-country HCM implementations
• Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools beyond OTBI (e.g., BI Publisher)
• Exposure to agile delivery methodologies
• Ability to mentor technical teams and guide architecture decisions

Duplicate Qualifications
