Job summary

Bolton Associates is seeking a Technical Analyst in London for a leading global insurance company to join their Reserving team. You will support development and maintenance of the in-house reserving platform and work with stakeholders to manage data and reporting.

The role requires strong SQL programming skills and 3+ years' P&C insurance experience; actuarial exams are not required. This position offers an on-site London workload with tight deadlines and regulatory reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance.
• Experience working alongside an actuarial function is advantageous although not essential
• Strong SQL programming skills is mandatory, with the ability to analyse complex datasets and identify and resolve issues within SQL stored procedures
• Ability to work closely with various stakeholders, build effective working relationships and ability to work under time pressure
• Not looking to pursue or progress with actuarial examinations

We are working with a leading global insurance company, who are looking for a Technical Analyst to join their Reserving team based in their London office.

The role will work on the reserving functions supporting the development and maintenance of their in-house reserving platform. You will work closely with a variety of teams managing and validating data, supporting quarterly reserving processes, developing system capabilities and producing key regulatory and business reporting.

The role is looking for someone with General Insurance experience and a technical mindset, in particular strong SQL programming experience.

Key Requirements
