Job summary

Glen Callum Associates Ltd in West Midlands (Birmingham) is seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to become the technical authority behind a world-class lubricant brand. You will link Product Development, Sales and Customer channels, delivering expert support across automotive sectors.

The role offers £48,000 basic plus bonus, a company car and generous holiday, with extensive product training and ongoing technical development.

Qualifications

Strong background in lubricants, oils and additive chemistry or Automotive Engine / Drivetrain technologies.
Ability to engage and communicate at all levels and deliver best-in-class technical support.
Experience interpreting technical documentation, specifications and performance data.
Willingness to travel for customer-facing activities.

Responsibilities

Delivering expert Technical Support to internal sales & marketing teams as well as external customers on our complete product group.
Advising on correct Automotive applications aligning product with specifications and applications.
Investigating Technical Product issues, diagnosing root causes and recommending effective solutions.
Supporting product positioning through delivering Technical Presentations, onsite training and customer engagement.
Acting as a trusted technical resource across OEM, Distributor and end-user / Workshop
Maintaining technical documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant industry specifications and classifications.
Collaborating with colleagues across commercial and technical functions to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
