Job summary

Miniclip, a global leader in digital games, seeks a Technical Accounting Manager for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in London. The role sits in Group Financial Reporting, focusing on IFRS 18 implementation and continual policy development across the multinational group.

You’ll lead assessments on new transactions (IFRS 15/2/3), document conclusions, and coordinate with auditors while ensuring consistent IFRS application group‑wide. Hybrid work with 3 days in London.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong post‑qualification experience in technical accounting within a complex or multinational organisation.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and applying complex accounting standards in practice.
• Proven experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters and developing accounting policies or technical positions.
• Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into clear, practical audit‑ready conclusions.
• Experience implementing IFRS 18 or another significant new accounting standard would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, judgement and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of complex matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical accounting matters clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting assessments arising from new transactions and commercial arrangements, including IFRS 15, IFRS 2 and IFRS 3.
• Research, analyse and document complex accounting matters, developing clear and practical technical accounting conclusions.
• Support the development and implementation of Group accounting policies and technical positions.
• Work with finance stakeholders across our international group to ensure consistent application of IFRS.
• Support the year‑end reporting and audit process, including coordination with external auditors.
• Assist with the preparation of the Group’s consolidated IFRS financial statements and review of subsidiary financial statements.
• Manage multiple technical accounting projects and deliverables, taking ownership from initial research through to final conclusion and documentation.
