Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will oversee and address our partners’ and customers’ technical needs. This role works with Jet, BI, and other products. You will serve as the primary technical liaison between our organization and our partners to support their customers within EMEA, delivering a successful technical strategy, guidance, training, and platform expertise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Train partners to use, sell, and implement Jet, BI, and other planning solutions effectively, developing and maintaining partner technical readiness including training, platform, and product awareness.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical leadership, liaising with the sales department to win new business and increase sales.
- Serve as the technical contact for Jet and planning solutions for assigned EMEA Partners. Advising them and their customers on application, implementation, and optimization of products, guiding them through technical and architectural issues for complex environments.
- Resolve technical support requests and escalations from partners and customers, analyzing their needs and suggesting upgrades or additional features.
- Answer questions and provide guidance regarding products, platform, and technology, including Jet and other products, SQL Server, data from Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions or financials, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Address all product-related queries promptly, supporting partner recruitment through education and showcasing how features can enhance business processes.
- Develop support methods and procedures for second-level support, including training on ticket creation and other processes to provide world-class support.
- Gather feedback from partners and customers to identify potential new features or products, report on product performance, and identify solutions to reduce support costs.
- Attend internal and external training events to stay updated on products and platforms.
- Provide consulting sessions at partner events, analyzing business, technical, and functional requirements to create solution designs.
- Learn new products as needed to support the business, with an understanding of Power BI or similar solutions and data modeling.
Qualifications
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies including Microsoft Dynamics ERP or financials, SQL, and Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or strong technical experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager or similar role, with ability to solve complex integration and product questions, including troubleshooting customer issues.
- Exceptional initiative, follow-through skills, and ability to understand customer needs and suggest solutions.
