Job summary

Bird & Bird in London seeks an Associate to join the Tech Transactions team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will handle a range of tech & telecoms‑focussed commercial work, including SaaS/cloud, outsourcing, software licensing and development deals.

The successful candidate will have solid experience advising on technology contracts and related commercial issues, with the opportunity to develop professionally through our mentoring and coaching programmes and a flexible approach to office

Qualifications

Good experience advising on commercial technology projects (cloud/SaaS, outsourcing, software development & implementation, telecoms, software licensing).
Strong understanding of legal and commercial issues underpinning technology contracts (warranties, indemnities, liabilities, SLAs, transition).
Experience working on complex technology matters within a leading market team.

Responsibilities

Advise on a range of tech/telecoms commercial work (cloud/SaaS, outsourcing, licensing, development, system implementation).
Contribute to innovative technology deals within a well‑reputed practice and collaborative team.
