Job summary

Shiplake College seeks an experienced technology leader to provide strategic oversight of technology operations, cybersecurity, digital governance and transformation projects during a maternity cover period of up to one year. The role focuses on keeping digital services secure, reliable and well supported, with strong governance, data protection and business continuity.

Experience leading IT strategy and operations in an educational or similar complex environment.
Strong cybersecurity and data protection expertise.
Ability to govern digital transformation while managing risk and compliance.
Proven leadership of IT teams and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of technology operations, cybersecurity, digital governance and transformation projects during maternity cover.
Lead the IT team and report to senior leaders and governors with concise governance reporting.
Ensure regulatory and governance requirements are met and vendors are held to high standards.
