Job summary

IBM UK offers a Digital & Technology Solutions Degree apprenticeship (Level 6) within Global Markets. You’ll build skills in information systems, development, data, and project management while supporting sales teams and client opportunities.

The role is office-based in London with travel to client sites. Start date is 12 October 2026, with university study and mentorship from two managers guiding your early professional journey.

Qualifications

• All apprenticeships are office based (if not on a client site) a minimum of 3 days a week, these are NOT remote roles.
• Expected locations: London. You will need to be mobile as all apprenticeship roles will be client focused, and you may work at client sites or other IBM locations.
• Valid residency status and the right to work in England.
• You must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Maths & English GCSE or equivalent (level 4 or above).
• Minimum of 120 UCAS points, BBB at A level.
• No previous apprenticeship or university course in a similar area.
• Must have completed sixth form level education.

Responsibilities

• Identify and explore client opportunities.
• Support sales teams with client meetings, demos and briefings.
• Help create proposals, pitch materials and bid responses.
• Contribute to proofs of concepts and pilots with clients and partners.
• Understand client challenges and match them to IBM technologies.
• Participate in events, campaigns and outreach activities.
• Build relationships with clients, partners and internal teams.
