Job summary

Kingfisher is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Technology Performance & Portfolio team near Southampton. You will support the planning and delivery of technology projects and initiatives, with onboarding and development support to grow your skills.

The role offers a hybrid work model, with around 12 days in the office per month, and travel to other Kingfisher locations in the UK and Europe as required. Open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of technology projects and initiatives.
• Lead smaller projects and workstreams with guidance from experienced Project Managers.
• Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs and other project documentation.
• Coordinate activities, actions and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
• Monitor progress and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support project governance, delivery standards, budget tracking, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Facilitate meetings, help move actions through to completion and contribute ideas to improve team delivery.
