Job summary

Kingfisher is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Technology Performance & Portfolio team near Southampton. You will support the planning and delivery of technology projects and initiatives, with onboarding and development support to grow your skills.

The role offers a hybrid work model, with around 12 days in the office per month, and travel to other Kingfisher locations in the UK and Europe as required. Open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

• Monitor progress and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support project governance, delivery standards, budget tracking, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Facilitate meetings, help move actions through to completion and contribute ideas to improve team delivery.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our Technology Performance & Portfolio function, to help deliver technology outcomes across Kingfisher's retail platforms and products. Previous experience in Project Management isn't necessary for this position – you'll receivea structured onboarding and development plan, access to training and professional qualifications and mentoring from experienced Project and Programme Managers.

As your experience and confidencegrow,you’llhave opportunities to lead increasingly complex projects and workstreams that contribute to effective technology delivery, developing your skills in stakeholder management, planning, governance, riskmanagementand leadership.

This role will be based out of our B&Q Head Office just outside Southampton with an expectation of 12 days a month in the office, with travel to other Kingfisher locations in the UK and Europe asrequired. We are open to full and part-time for this position for the right candidate.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills, including attention to detail and an understanding of the bigger picture.
• Experience in a technology, retail, customer service, operations or business environments, or experience supporting projects, programmes, workstreams, events, change activities or other business initiatives would be beneficial.
